What Tend is

Tend is a journal for your own symptoms and health records. It runs on iPhone and iPad.

  • A daily check-in for pain, fatigue, brain fog, sleep, waking refreshed, mood, pain locations, and a note. Every field is optional.
  • Records for medications, labs, visits, and questions.
  • Summaries of your own entries. Each one says how many days it rests on.
  • A printable letter to bring to a doctor’s appointment.

Tend is currently offered at no cost and contains no in-app purchase. It has no ads. See Tend on the App Store or read how Tend works.

What Tend is not

Tend is not a medical device, a clinic, or a source of medical advice.

Tend records what you enter and shows conservative summaries of your own entries. It does not diagnose or treat anything. It is not a substitute for care from your own doctor.

Tend has no medical advisory board and has not been clinically validated. No clinician, clinic or patient organization has reviewed or endorsed it.

Your record

In plain terms

Your record stays on your device and syncs to your Tend account. You can export or delete it.

Tend requires an Apple or Google sign-in and syncs your record to your Tend account. There is no advertising or cross-app tracking. You can export or delete your record from Settings at any time.

The Privacy Policy is the full account of what Tend handles, including app analytics and optional weather.
