What Tend includes today
In plain terms
Tend has some accessibility support built in. It is not yet complete on every screen.
- Text uses system text styles, so much of it follows your iPhone or iPad text size setting.
- Key controls have VoiceOver labels, including the check-in dials, the pain map, and the history charts.
- The check-in dials, pain map regions, and several charts can be adjusted with VoiceOver swipe gestures.
- Settings has two optional Comfort options: Higher contrast and Larger touch targets.
- Some animations, including the moving background on Today, pause when Reduce Motion is on.
What Tend does not claim yet
In plain terms
Tend does not list any accessibility features on its App Store page yet.
Apple lets apps state which accessibility features work across their common tasks. Tend makes none of those statements yet, because testing and fixes across the whole app are not finished.
That means Tend does not yet claim full support for VoiceOver, Voice Control, Larger Text, Sufficient Contrast, Differentiate Without Color, or Reduced Motion. The Higher contrast and Larger touch targets options do not yet cover every screen.
This page will change when that testing is done. Until then, it describes only what exists.
Report a barrier
In plain terms
If something in Tend is hard to see, hear, reach, or use, email us. A person reads it.
Email contact@offscriptfoundry.com. It helps to include the screen you were on, what you were trying to do, and any accessibility settings you use, such as VoiceOver or a larger text size.
Include your device model and iOS or iPadOS version if you know them. Please do not send health details the problem does not need. The Support page has more on what to include.
