Tend for iPhone and iPad

Editorial policy

How Tend writes about fibromyalgia, health and your data, and how to report a mistake.

Last updated September 17, 2026

The short version

  • Tend does not give medical advice. It never tells you what to take, stop, or change.
  • Statements about your body come only from your own entries, and say how many days they rest on.
  • A general statement about fibromyalgia needs a source that can be checked.
  • This site shows no ratings, testimonials, user counts or endorsements.
  • Tend has no medical reviewer. Off Script Foundry, Inc. is responsible for every statement.
  • To report a mistake, email contact@offscriptfoundry.com.

A summary. The sections below have the detail.

01

What this policy covers

In plain terms

This policy covers the words on this website and in the Tend app.

Off Script Foundry, Inc. writes and maintains this website and the text in the app. It is responsible for every statement in them.

Both are written in plain language, to be understood on the first read, including on a day with brain fog.

02

No medical advice

In plain terms

Tend does not tell you what to take, stop, or change. Those decisions belong to you and your doctor.

Tend is a self-tracking tool. It is not a medical device, and nothing on this site or in the app is medical advice.

When something may matter for your care, Tend says it is worth discussing with your doctor. It does not say what to do about it.

03

Statements about your own entries

In plain terms

Tend only describes patterns in your own entries, and only when there are enough days to describe.

  • Every summary is computed from your own entries and nothing else.
  • A skipped answer stays missing. It never counts as zero.
  • A finding waits for enough answered days. Then it says how many days it rests on.
  • Tend describes association and timing, never cause. A pattern in your own days is not a diagnosis.
04

General statements about fibromyalgia

In plain terms

A general health statement needs a source that can be checked. Mixed evidence is described as mixed.

Tend makes few general statements about fibromyalgia. One that it does make must rest on a source a reader can check, such as a peer-reviewed study or a public health agency.

Tend may say what many people with fibromyalgia report. It does not turn that into a statement about what will happen to you.

05

Ratings, testimonials and endorsements

In plain terms

This site shows no ratings, reviews, testimonials, user counts or endorsements.

Tend does not publish figures it does not maintain, and it does not quote praise it cannot show. The quotes on the home page are lines from the app itself. Each one is labelled with where it appears.

Tend carries no advertising.

06

Images on this site

In plain terms

Photographs on this site are AI-generated and show no real people. App screenshots show sample data.

The photographs on this site, and the video at the top of the home page, are AI-generated. They do not show real people or people who use Tend.

The app screenshots are real captures of Tend. They show the sample record the app ships with, not a real person’s record.

07

Who reviews this

In plain terms

Off Script Foundry, Inc. writes and checks this site and the app. No clinician reviews them.

Tend has no medical reviewer and no medical advisory board. Nothing on this site or in the app has been reviewed or approved by a clinician.

If that changes, this page will name the reviewer and say what they reviewed. Read About Tend for who publishes Tend.

08

Report a mistake

In plain terms

If something here is wrong, unclear, or out of date, email us. A person reads it.

Email contact@offscriptfoundry.com. It helps to include the page or the screen in the app, and what looks wrong.

When a mistake is confirmed, Tend corrects the text. Pages like this one show the date they were last updated.

Tend is a self-tracking tool. It is not a medical device, it does not diagnose or treat anything, and it is not a substitute for your own doctor’s care. It is an independent project, not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any clinic, publisher or organization.

Tend keeps real crisis resources one tap away, in Settings. If you are in immediate danger, please contact your local emergency number.
